WELCOME TO DLP.BOX!

DLP.BOX member accounts are offered only to employees of end-user organizations that are either currently using or considering the use of DLP technologies. Accounts require registration using a valid email address. All registrations will be reviewed and verified to ensure compliance.

We reserve the right to remove users who violate any of the following terms and rules of DLP.BOX.

WHY ONLY END USERS? WHY NOT VENDORS OR SOLUTION PROVIDERS?

DLP.BOX was created with end-users of DLP technologies in mind. We want to promote an atmosphere of open sharing of questions and ideas for your data loss prevention initiatives and do not want users to feel pressured by vendor solicitations or sales pitches. We invite members to post experiences, questions, answers, comments and situations related to DLP initiatives, products, vendors, features or data protection strategies.

We encourage DLP.BOX members to help moderators by flagging inappropriate content.

PLEASE ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING DLP.BOX RULES:

RULE #1: Do not post vendor- or solution provider-based solicitations or promotions. These posts will be removed and members subject to censure. There are plenty of other venues for solicitations, such as the many DLP groups on LinkedIn.

RULE #2: Do not list your name or organization in your posts. This will help prevent unsolicited sales requests.

RULE #3: We reserve the right to contact users requesting membership in order to verify end-user status.

RULE #4: All discussions and shared links must relate to Data Loss Prevention or topics of general import to protecting sensitive data.

Please remember that we are not responsible for any message posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of DLP.BOX. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary.
